I ordered an iced latte alongside one of their fresh, artisan breakfast dishes, and the quality was incredible. The espresso was wonderfully smooth, well-balanced, and expertly crafted, while the food tasted unbelievably fresh and thoughtfully presented. The team behind the counter was upbeat, welcoming, and fast, adding so much positive energy to the whole experience. If you're anywhere near Carpinteria and love stellar specialty coffee paired with fresh, delicious eats, this place is an absolute must!

Contemporary cafe with an attention to detail evident at entry turn. From the food and service to the setting and decor nothing was overlooked. That level of commitment translates to an excellent customer experience. We absolutely love the house baked goods, especially the cinnamon roll (available only on weekends).

Great service and food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. A family member took me here for breakfast before catching my train back to LA. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was well worth it. Overall pleasant experience and glad I was able to meet with the Owner.

5 Stars - Outstanding Quality & A Great Human Atmosphere! Having been to the Carpinteria location, I was thrilled to see Brass Bird Coffee & Kitchen open on Upper State. This new space is beautifully modern, yet it maintains a truly comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. One of the best things I noticed was the "human" vibe—people were actually engaged in conversation with each other rather than just being on their cell phones. The staff is outstanding—extremely accommodating and welcoming. It’s evident they care deeply about quality, and it shows in every detail. Their on-site bakery is a standout; the pastries are delicious, but be warned: they are addictive! I tried the brown butter chocolate chip cookies and the carrot cake cupcake with walnut cream cheese frosting, which was easily my favorite. The drink quality is also top-tier. Their coffee is excellent, and I highly recommend their homemade energy drinks and specialty lattes (I particularly enjoy the MUD\WTR). Whether you’re a fan of their Carpinteria spot or a local looking for a high-quality new favorite, this place is highly recommended!

Had to check out the new local coffee spot. The breakfast burrito was pretty standard, but I don’t think I’ll be getting it again. The ambience was amazing and the interior design is very cute. The fresh baked pastries were beautiful and tasty so I’ll definitely be going back for those. The staff were very accommodating and very attentive even during the morning rush. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with banquette style booths on the inside and outside. Dog friendly!!!
